Funny you should mention that. I just conducted a poll. The results show that all the poll takers have at least 11 years of experience in the game, and old age and treachery will win out over youth and speed every time. Count me in.

I'm an old timer, as well, BattleTech since 1984, NetMech 95, Kali, Heat, all for MechWarrior II and Mercs, MechWarrior III, and I've even played through the MechWarrior IV stuff. Never touched Mech Assault. I'm also 43 this coming Tuesday.

I will be happy to fight alongside you guys, but I'm running my own Merc Unit; we've been around since the Registry and Grand Council days, but not nearly as active as I would liked to have been. Listen, we need experienced old timers for Command & Staff positions in AU, as well; everyone new to AU starts at the bottom, but knowledge, ability and experience, especially age, prior real-world military service, length of play for the tabletop and online, all have an effect on one's ability to make rank and position within AU. If anyone is interested in a heavy superstructure with a gooey-fun heart, we might just be the place for you.

Otherwise, OTC'ers, I look forward very much to seeing you on the battlefield once MWO CW gets started in earnest.
